Dear Band,

What have you been doing? I haven't talked to any main band members yet, but I think I can infer what's going on. 2009. New year, new people. Even the old, too, change. It's something we have to deal with. Adapt. There's a reason why I'm blogging here after God knows how long, instead of doing my tutorials. Balloting's very soon, the exact date will come and the countdown will start. ARE YOU REALLY READY? It's a month away. A month. SYF 2009. It didn't just come now. It already came the minute we finished SYF 2007.

Do what you have to do.
Do what you should do, and more.

Love,
Joan.

Hello band.

This entry is more for the Japan trip girls.

I hope everyone's enjoyed themselves and have learnt many things from both the Toin girls' and boy's band that they can apply to their music. Also, I'm pretty sure that everyone has learned things from the trip that might not be applicable to music, but relevant to our lives and our role as a student.

If you take all the inspiration that you've gained by watching the Japanese bands and turn it into effort and passion, I have no doubt a Gold with Honors will appear. If you work very hard and play good music, the awards and accolades will naturally come.

Keep up the good work.

Dear band,

It's been quite some time since I've posted here so I thought I'd post again. I miss the music a lot and my section! Of course, I miss playing my instrument the most. Haha.

Anyway, how's everyone? I haven't listened to you all for quite some time. So I hope the next time I do, the standard will still be maintained. Or perhaps, better! Which I think you all can totally do. :)

Congrats to your majors, by the way.
They did a good job at the 34th Band NCO Passing Out Parade today. :)

Band Major, Seow Chuxuan, and Drum Major, Keziah Seow.
